Dr. Bayes, our dedicated specialists and staff work together to deliver personalized, non-surgical solutions for lasting results.

Dr. Bayes is board-certified and fellowship trained in primary care sports medicine and specializes in non-surgical, regenerative orthopedic care. Dr. Bayes is a graduate of Saint Louis University Medical School and was proud to serve as a physician in the US Navy. He believes that everyone is an athlete, and uses that principle to support movement and healing to sustain and enhance health and longevity. He applies this principle to those on the professional level, in youth sports, at the local park, or even just maintaining movement. With more than 15 years of experience in sports medicine and regenerative orthopedics Dr. Bayes combines deep expertise with a commitment to compassionate care.

Paige joined Dr. Bayes in 2022. She specializes in non-operative treatments, helping patients stay active and return to the activities they love. A Carlyle, IL, native, Paige was a three-sport high school athlete and went on to play Division I basketball at the University of Michigan and Saint Louis University. She later earned her Master of Medical Science from SLU’s Physician Assistant Program, where she was inducted into the Pi Alpha National Honor Society. Outside of work, she enjoys fitness, traveling, playing sports, and spending time with her husband Joseph, their twin son and daughter—Benjamin and Riley—and friends.

Devon has been working with Dr. Bayes since August of 2011. She received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Truman State University and a Master of Science in Education from Northwest Missouri State University. In 2010, Devon participated in the Steadman Clinic Athletic Training Fellowship program in Vail, Colorado. Devon enjoys fitness, live music, travel and spending time with her husband, Greg and their children—Gavin, Avery, and Adelyn.

Allison has spent the last 13+ years as a medical assistant working alongside Dr. Bayes, caring for rising athletes, active adults and orthopedic “OGs”. When Allison isn’t in the clinic keeping her patients at ease, she can be found digging in the garden, singing along at a live show, and enjoying every minute with her perfect grandchildren.

Karen has worked for Dr. Matthew Bayes as his scheduler since June 2013. She has over 30 years of experience in the medical field, including a certificate in medical terminology that she received when she lived in Illinois. In her spare time, Karen loves to bake cookies and cakes, and hand decorate them. She even brings samples into the office. Karen also enjoys a variety of crafting activities on the weekends.

Brandy has been working with Dr. Bayes since August of 2021. She comes from a Rheumatology infusion background. She received her certifications for Phlebotomy and Infusions from the St. Louis school of Phlebotomy in 2016. She is also an ambassador for the Arthritis Foundation, having been diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis at 18 months old. Brandy enjoys going to concerts, traveling, karaoke, and hanging at home with her husband Alex and their dogs Dottie and Archer!

Tarrah is the friendly face behind the X-ray machine at Bayes Sports Medicine. She has worked with Dr. Bayes for two years and is still going strong. She likes to cheer her team on at the office because she believes positivity is contagious. She has a loving husband of 22 years, and they have two children in college. Her favorite pastime is swapping her scrubs for suitcases.

Meagan has worked alongside Dr. Bayes as a medical assistant for the past two years. Known for her compassion and attention to detail, she plays an important role in creating a positive experience for every patient. Outside of work, she has been married to her wonderful husband of 20 years and is the proud mother of their three children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends.
